Apart from going on safari with guests, we’re very much involved in developing our region. Therefore we decided to transfer 20 euro to the community for every guest we host in Endallah. The money will be used for local development: the construction of a secondary school, the installation of solar panels on the roof of the dispensary, improving the water distribution, scholarships, and so on. At this moment we’re sponsoring a student from the village who's studying to become a teacher.
Therefore we made an agreement with the district that she will be appointed in Endallah or one of the 4 neighbouring villages. By doing so we try to give local people more chances and hope that they will be motivated to teach the next generation in return.
In 2011 Endallah Cultural Tours will participate in the construction of a kintergarten in Engare Sero, Lake Natron. More news about this project will come soon...
